Lego Club Challenge

November 2, 2020 - Ongoing

Hello Seagull Families!

My name is Nadia Gaeta and I am happy to announce that

Lego Club is resuming virtually! We will be conducting bi-

monthly challenges via the PTA Class on Seesaw (the codes

to add the class will be distributed by your teacher) as well

as a bi-monthly Zoom session to present their creations.

This program is free, does not require a commitment, and

open to all kids TK-5th grade (On Campus and VLA). This is

a non-competitive, educational program.

This program will have students:

1. Working at home or at ESS

2. Complete challenges that can be, for example, create a boat that can float on water,

create a house, build their name using Legos, etc.

3. Post a response (video or photo- whichever they prefer) to Seesaw explaining their

design

OR

Attend a LIVE ZOOM on Thursday afternoon which will run from 3:30PM-

4:30PM where they can talk about their creation and participate in other fun challenges! (Zoom details available on Seesaw.)

Parent volunteers are needed and welcomed. You would be helping during our Zoom sessions

on Thursdays. Please contact me at Gaetapartyof5@gmail.com if you are interested!

I will post the challenges on the PTA Class on Seesaw every other Monday with the first

challenge being Monday November 2nd.

If you are in need of LEGOs feel free to reach out to me at Gaetapartyof5@gmail.com and we can supply you with some to borrow.

I am really excited and can’t wait to see all of the creativity!
