Seagulls Share Shop

Families can donate their gently used apparel and accessories for our pop-up shops where SHES families can find treasures that they can give a second life. These events are free and are an important way to model environmental stewardship to our students, by reusing items and keeping them out of the landfill. Various Seagulls Share Shops have different themes throughout the year, including Halloween/Fall, Winter items, sporting goods, and household items.

Earth Fair

Our annual Earth Fair is a fun-filled collaboration with other PUSD schools, dedicated to celebrating our planet and inspiring our young environmental stewards. Explore interactive educational booths featuring engaging activities such as planting seeds, crafting recycled art, and learning about wildlife conservation. The day culminates in a rally, where students will showcase their commitments to taking care of the Earth through catchy songs and handmade signs.

Around the World Night

A long-standing Sunset Hills tradition, this event highlights the rich diversity our school community. Groups are invited to showcase their unique culture, heritage, and identities by hosting informational tables with traditional food or activities, a fashion show highlighting cultural attire, and performances that include traditional dances, music, and vocal presentations, fostering an environment of appreciation and understanding among all participants.
